Children coming from Europe by plane are asked to arrive and leave at Heathrow airport on a Saturday between the hours of 1.30 and 4.30pm as the cost of the transfers to and from the airport can then be shared with others allowing us to keep the price low.

Those who are unable to travel within these hours will be charged extra as one of our Private taxis will have to be used.

Children are met on arrival by an English Perfected representative who will be holding up the green logo and your child’s name. They will then be taken to their host family who will settle them into their room and welcome them into the family.

On their return they will be taken to the airport, helped with the check-in and bag-drop procedures and (as much as possible) shown how to look for their gate and when to go there.

Each child is sent an immigration form which explains to the immigration personnel that the child is coming for a linguistic stay, has permission to travel alone and is being met on the other side by one of our staff. It is designed to make their entry into the country as smooth as possible and it has our phone numbers on the form in case there are any problems.
